Hi,

I found the previous link about ricotta and it got me thinking - does anyone know where I can get this stuff?

My favorite (cow's milk) so far is the hand made Calabro brand - I splurge once every few months at Whole Foods and eat it with raw honey and slivered almonds...

thanks

Bellwether Farms makes an absolutely delectable version. Should be available at farmers markets, possibly Whole Foods or Berkeley Bowl also.

It is *yummy*.

Second that rec for Bellweather Farms. They make a cows milk and a sheeps milk that are both incredible. I buy mine at the Cheeseboard in Berkeley.

To clarify, my rec was for Bellwether's sheep's milk version as I haven't tried the cow's milk.

I have purchased Bellwether Farms' sheep milk ricotta from Rainbow Grocery in SF but it's not always there so you have to get lucky. It's a very good product.
