Fried pickles and cheese curds

Just got back from a wonderful trip to the Minnesota State Fair where I got to eat all sorts of unhealthy, good things. My favorite items were the fried pickle slices and fried cheese curds. Are there any places in NYC where I can get either of these items? TIA!

Unfortunately it is almost impossible to get really good cheese curds in nyc. Squeaky cheese curds are usually only found within an hour of dairy farms. Sometimes the Amish farmers in the city have the curds but they are still a pale imitation of what you can find in dairy country.

I hear that the Half Pint on W. 3rd and Thompson has cheese curds, but I haven't tried them myself.

do these places serve the actual, squeaky cheese curds?? i had some at green bay, wisconsin that were fabulous and would love to have some squeaky cheese around home. the squeakiness comes from it being fresh cheese curds. :)
