Has anyone been to this? Is it worth heading up for? Seems like tickets are sold out. If this is a good event, any ideas on how one could obtain tickets? Thank you!

We've been going for the last 6 years. It's always sold out in advance. I don't know how you could get tickets now, but you could try:
Googling for tickets
ebay (we got Carmel tomato fest tix on ebay afew years ago)
Check and post a request to the KFOG ticket swap page.
Check and post on Craig's List
After being shut out a couple of times, we joined the Kendall Jackson wine club. We get advance notice of the fest, good wines, and at the festival, a shaded tent with special tastings, snacks, tables and chairs. Well worth it we think.
