P'tit Quebec cheddar cheese (Processed?)

I just bought a brick of P'tit Quebec cheddar cheese for mini pizza's. After taking a bite, it tasted like a processed cheese slice?

I have bought this brand before & never had this problem!

P'tit Québec is not processed, but it's not aged much either. It's a pretty insipid cheese. I wouldn't be surprised that, once melted, it tasted like Kraft Singles.

I don't know what happened but for the record, I'm certain that cheese used to be much better back when I was a kind than it is now. Nowadays, having a girlfriend who's from Lac St-Jean, I get my hands on Perron every time I can. By the way, if I'm not mistaking le P'tit Québec is actually made in Ontario, isn't it ironic?
