Best burger in San Diego

Going to San Diego in two weeks and looking for the best burger there. Also, what are the "don't miss" places in town?

Burger at an Italian restaurant ? I haven't heard or seen anything form that restaurant but hoped Cucina Urbana would perhaps finally a more authentic restaurant in San Diego - Let me guess the Italian part of the burger was either a cheese from Italy (or Italian sounding name) or they served it with truffle fries ?

I was with a group of 12 that shared, allowing us to sample probably 75% of the menu. I would not call it "authentic" Italian (except most of the pasta dishes), but a fresh, new restaurant with Italian influence. And to your point, it did come with truffle fries.

Is the pasta made in-house and is the pizza napolitanian style or any other italian style?

I wouldn't call it neapolitan, thinner crust. They do have their own large, new pizza oven. Didn't try all of the pastas so couldn't tell you if they are all house made, but certainly the goat cheese and lemon ravioli was. Here is the web address with a link to download the pdf menu.

I'm a fan of the burger at the lodge at torrey pines. Nothing special just a good solid burger.
