Duck Fat

Hello All,

Gearing up to make some duck confit in the fall. Can anybody tell me where I can find 1-2 lb tubs of duck fat?

I did this last fall and bought the duck fat at Fairway - but in smaller tubs and it wasn't cheap. Next time, I'm going to buy goose fat, which you can buy in larger cans and is cheaper. Would be curious to hear if others have better sources though of duck fat.

Where do you get goose fat in NYC?

Fairway - at the meat counter and I've also seen at Dean & Deluca and Citarella.

I have heard about people buying it in Chinatown. But have not done so myself.
