Prepared food delivered to Naples, FL?

erock Sep 2, 2007 10:07 PM

I am trying to pre-send a variety of Rosh Hashanah meals to a friend in Naples, FL. So far, I've found several websites which insist they ship all over the US. Most, however, are based in NY. Seems silly to freeze prepared foods in order to ship to Florida.

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced outfit based somewhere in Florida that has packaged and prepared foods at reasonable prices? I'm looking for a combination of main dishes, sides, salads, packaged desserts, challahs, etc.

The site I found that seemed best (but in NY) was Park East Kosher. Has anyone used them before? How is their "fresh" then "frozen for shipping" prepared foods (like chicken, beef stew, side dishes...).

Contact Chabad of Naples to find out.

Thanks, Jeterfan, for the suggestion. I called and got the name of Aroma Market in Ft. Lauderdale. They don't have anything on their website, so I am waiting for an email of their menu.

If anyone has other suggestions for the area, please let me know.

I just used them for a trip out west, and everything was great--the frozen and the fresh stuff. They are not cheap (but you get what you pay for) and shipping can be as much as the food itself.
