I'm going to be near San Fernando and Fletcher. Any good casual lunch recs for under $10-15?

and Foster's Freeze soft-serve for dessert, of course

Anyone tried the Thai places on Fletcher?

Good ol' Rick's, on the corner of Fletcher & Riverside Drive. Sign outside reads "Best Food In L.A." That's a stretch, but their onion rings and fried zucchini are among the best out there. I like their veggie burgers, too. If you travel towards Silver Lake on Fletcher and make a left on Glendale Blvd., you'll find Gingergrass nearby. It's decent, too. http://www.gingergrass.com/

You just mentioned 2 of my favorites in that area.
Stopped by GINGERGRASS yesterday for lunch-good as ever! Had the pork chop special and the crab imperial rolls-so satisfying, friend had the green papaya salad and summer spring rolls. Enjoyed a Tiger beer on such a hot day.
RICK"S has the yummist Taco, of all things...and yes, the Onion Rings are the best you can get.
