        <content>I was on Park in Alameda this weekend and noticed a House of Bagels.  It this another location of the same House of Bagels on Geary that gets rave reviews?</content>

      <content>Yes.  There are about 15 stores in the mini-chain.  Closely controlled by the Chassey family, I think.  Not a franchise, but I believe there are partners for some of the stores.</content>

it's a curse really.
 
house of bagels is as close to an nyc bagel i've gotten out here though. plain double toasted w/cream cheese.
