Beans and Barley, Milwaukee WI

Some of my friends are bringing me to Beans and Barley next Saturday. Has anyone been there? good, bad? and what do you recommend? Thanks for the help.

    I love the soups and salads (especially the tabouli when they have it) there for sure. Always good and highly recommended.

    My favorite however is their PB&J. Give it a shot and share.

      Beans and Barley is very reliably good. Not out of this world, but very good. Since your friends know of it, I assume you too know that it's primarily vegetarian. But, they have some good chicken dishes.

      (I don't know if it was just me, but when I used IE the menu link was a problem. No problem with Mozilla).

      As you can tell from the menu, it's sandwichs and salads. The chili and soups are usually great. I haven't been in awhile, except for breakfast, hence no recs other than what I've noted.
