We will be visiting friends in Ct and we will be staying in Sheldon. We are looking for a nice Sunday Brunch Buffet for a group of 8 in a place that is quite and we will not feel rushed.
Thanks for any help you can give. We can also travel to New Haven Area.

I saw your new post. If you could give me some Ideas of how far from Shelton you would like to venture. Let me know. I thought the two sites I sent would be enough. So when you read this if you want you can send another reply and I will be watching for it. Good luck, Earle

Dakota in Milford CT is not far and is a huge buffet - - -soup to nuts. People love it. You can ask to be seated in a more quiet area, like the bar. Spacious, so a party of 8 won't feel crowded.
The best brunch is in New Haven at the Rusty Scupper, right off I-95 in Long Wharf, but I have heard that they are soon closing, so be sure to call--really nice atmosphere there, too, overlooking the harbor--its won awards for its brunch.
For just breakfast, the Courtyard Marriott in Shelton has a nice place for breakfast.
Cool place for breakfast in Westport, CT is Zest Cafe.

Stay away ...far away from Dakota in Milford. They had a vermon problem last year and their food is awful compared to other Dakotas that I have been too. If you do decide to go, don't get the crabcakes in Milford. They are the worst that we have ever had!!!!!

I totally agree with javaandjaz regarding Dakota in Milford. They have a long way to go to ever get my business back. Not clean! A poor reflection on the chain which isn't all bad.
