I have really noticed a change in Jimmy's in the past 5 years. Used to go there a lot for business lunches, Sat night dinners, etc. I believe they are catering more towards the yuppie drinking crowd and as such, they have suffered overall.

re: TwoPointers
When I trained for my last marathon over last winter, I kept having to run at night so I'd go do it in Forest Park so I wouldn't get pegged by a car. So as to entice myself, because running 18 miles in the dark on Tuesday is not the most exciting thing to do when it's 30 degrees outside, I would always park by Kaldi's and run over to Forest Park from there knowing that at the end, I would have a warm cappuccino (possibly made correctly) awaiting me.
Anyway, as a result, I saw Jimmy's at least three times a week for a 3-4 month stretch. I haven't eaten there since Kathy Schmidt was chef (probably 1999 at best), so I can't vouch for the food, but judging the clientèle, I saw a lot of youngish women being hit on by older men. It seemed like it was a bit of a trophy wife/sugar-daddy finding sort of place, but that's just my impression looking in.

I really was not that impressed the last time I was there. Something about the atmosphere just was not pleasant to me. Not that it was an unpleasant place, it just wasn't my kind of vibe. I can't quite put my finger on it. Food was okay. Congratulations on the anniversary. (assuming it's your anniversary!)
