Well, I like Izzy's Bagels (located in the shopping center on Magnolia and Warner, next to the CVS).

While you're there, try a boba from the Chinese store a few doors down. There are two, but I'm thinking about the one that isn't the Ten Ren tea store.

J.T's Bagels, Sprindale and Edinger (in the Von's center, next to CVS/Sav-On). The new owners are doing a great job, and are very nice. Check out their fruit carvings.
5th Avenue Bagels, Bolsa Chica and Heil, in the Albertson's Center.

Bagelmania on Adams and Magnolia!! They have a drive-thru and make fresh New York style bagels everyday!! They have been there for 15 years, same owner, and they also have a new location opening in Costa Mesa on Adams and Harbor...If you haven't tried them you must...a great locals secret.
