Brunch Near Michigan Avenue
If you want something close to Michigan Avenue, I'd recommend Bistro 110 or RL. RL has outdoor seating right at Michigan and Chicago- probably very noisy, but a great location and the food is good
Other suggestions - House of Blues has a gospel brunch, which is fun to take people out of town. For something more upscale, head over to Cafe des Architectes, located in the lobby of the Sofitel. Very bright and interesting
The restaurants in the big hotels - Seasons in the Four Seasons, and the Cafe in the Ritz-Carlton - have sumptuous buffet brunches. The one with the best view of Michigan Avenue is NoMI, in the Park Hyatt; the dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at Michigan Avenue and the Water Tower. www.nomirestaurant.com None of these is inexpensive, though; they're all in the $50ish ballpark.
I like the brunch at Bistro 110, too, as suggested by blondie60614, but there is no view of Michigan Avenue. Unlike the hotel brunches, you order a la carte. It's also considerably less expensive than the hotel brunches. www.levyrestaurants.com
