Aujourd'hui in the Four Seasons Hotel has a nice view of the Public Garden. It's a very expensive fine dining spot with cuisine that falls between New French and New American.

Both # 9 Park and Troquet have window seats with views of the Boston Common.

"with City View" is a little subjective, but I've always been fond of the atmosphere and window views at Aquitaine in the charming South End. Solid, if not earth shattering Parisian bistro fare. OpenTable still shows some spots available.

Beacon Hill Bistro on, well, Beacon Hill, is a little smaller, but also a pleasant French-accented restaurant in a pleasant Boston neighborhood.

Eastern Standard has a nice, large patio in Kenmore Square, which isn't as charming as the South End or Beacon Hill, but certainly unmistakably Bostonian (especially with the Sox in town this weekend).
