Il Cielo or Little Door?

My boyfriend made dinner reservations for my birthday at both Il Cielo and Little Door and asked me to choose. My choice would be neither, but I appreciate his effort so I'm not going to tell him that. Which one would you choose?

Definitely Little Door

Are you a dessertie person? If so, Little Door has a really great apple tarte tatin. They also have a pretty good creme brulee, flourless chocolate cake, and sorbet selection.

Choose The Little Door. My then-girlfriend took me there for my birthday once. It was great. Now, she is Mrs. J.L. (OK, OK a lot of other stuff happened in-between, but The Little Door now brings a big smile to my face.)

Oh, and the service was horrible at Il Cielo when I last went.

I'd go for Little Door, I just like hangin in that place for some reason. I dig their wine list too!
