Wine/Liquor store

We will be staying at the Millennium Broadway hotel at 145 W 44th, can anyone tell me where a good nearby wine -Liquor store might be located.

    Morrell Wines at 1 Rockefeller Plaza (48th St, bewteen 5th and 6th Aves) is pretty comprehensive, 4 blocks from you.

      One of the most overpriced stores in NYC. Sometimes their pricing is actually obscene.

        lol--then don't bring the kids...
        but it's closeby...
        hard to offer value when you have to pay midtown rent...
        the OP isn't likely to trek to PJ's.

      9th Avenue Vintner on 9th between 46th-47th has a good selection and fair prices. Savvy staff, too, as a rule.
