Farmer's Market on Coxwell north of Bloor?
Apparently there is a Farmer's Market thing going on every Thursday, anyone been?
Can't remember the exact address, something like Coxwell x Mortimer I think.
I drive by all the time, but always on my way to elsewhere and never get to actually see
what they have in terms of variety, how good/fresh they are, what price range, etc.
Would appreciate if someone can tell me whether it's worth a stop.
The farmers' market on Coxwell north of Danforth at Mortimer on the grounds of the East York Civic Centre, kitty corner from the hospital. Every Tuesday.
I've only stopped once for a quick look around but there was a wide range of lots of fresh fruits and veggies as well as honeys, jams, some baked goods, etc. Also some beautiful cut sunflowers. A very busy hot dog/sausage vendor. A Jamaican fresh juice vendor.
I'd say it's worth a stop.

they have whatever is seasonal........quality equal to any other real farmers market in gta. there is a baked goods vendor.....very fresh, i have found the offerings good but not amazing, i have bought several items and been satisfied. there is also a vendor that sells smoked sausages both heated and unheated to take home as well as other deli type items. i have also bought from them and been satisfied. overall...worth it if you live in the area and want to walk (as I did in my previous life)..but no better than anything you can get at a danforth market.

Does anyone know the hours? The sign at EY Civic Centre just lists that the Farmer's Market will be there on Tuesdays between May 22-Oct 30. Are they open late enough so you can pop by after work?

Generally between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., although I see them setting up and selling much earlier, around 8 a.m.
