One of my favorite things is the lunch buffet at The Ambassador Dining Room. It has all the atmosphere and great outdoor seating in a pretty courtyard on/near the John's Hopkin's University campus. For the brunch you can dress your best, or wear shorts and a tee-shirt and still fit in. Their food is rated as 25 on the Zagat site which pretty much means that it's awesome.

re: dantastic
I am a huge fan of the Ambassador - but not for its lunch buffet. The dinners can be exquisite, but the buffet is lacking in choices compared with other Indian lunch buffets in town, and considerably overpriced. The food is often not kept hot, roti is not always available, and the dishes can't hold a candle compared with the dinner meals. I often get a yen (or maybe a rupee) for Indian food at lunch and live within a stone's throw of the Ambassador. But I'll go to another Indian buffet rather than the Ambassador, even if I have to drive instead of walk. Dinner at the Ambassador, though, is well worth any effort involved.
