Chinese around North Reading

We are looking for a GOOD Chinese restaurant in or around North Reading...Anyone have any suggestions?

Both of the two in Reading are good and have been there for a while. You can get sushi at the Mandarin as well.
I need to take a run up 125 to North Andover again soon to check out the "new" Beijing. The food at the old one never disappointed and the bar scene there is something else.

Another vote for Mandarin Reading on Salem Street (Route 129) in Reading. Mandarin Reading is very good IMHO. However, now Mandarin Reading charges for a pot of tea? Most Chinese restaurants don't charge for a pot of tea. Mandarin Reading does and I read that Golden Temple in Brookline does too. Pretty soon they will probably charge you for a glass of water?

LindaWhit is correct. I think you need to qualify what "good" is. Mandarin Reading is excellent Americanized Chinese food... Their lunch buffets are generally a good deal.

For more authentic fare, I'd try China Pearl (for weekend Dim Sum) and Sichhuan Garden both in Woburn.

Not sure what you're looking for or what your definition of GOOD is, but on the Route 129 rotary (Salem St.) is The Mandarin and Emperor's Choice on Main Street - both are pretty decent.

I have passed the Emperors Chooce a million times- and have read some good things on these boards. Will definitely have to make a visit sometime.
