Excellent bagel choice - good taste, consistency and size.

Ok, Murray's are good, but can be inconsistent. More than occasionally I have found them to be overcooked.

Best bagels in the neighborhood are Hudson Bagels, down on Hudson around Christopher and West 10th. Great texture, a bit salty, but sweet - delicious. The oatmeal wheat one is particularly divine.

Murray's is probably my favorite bagel in the city. I much prefer them to Ess-a-bagels, which are too large for such a dense bagel.

I agree. I don't care for Ess-a-bagel at all. I'm sort of puzzled about what makes them appealing to so many people.
