Noodle joints near Mott?

Low_Fat Aug 30, 2007 07:49 AM

I'm going to be in Chinatown tomorrow and want to pick up some beef chow fun for my kids dinner. Any recommendations for Catonese style noodles near Mott Street? I'm going to Big Wong on Mott for the barbeque. I can pick up the noodles there, but am interested to hear of other places nearby. TIA

Actually the beef chow fun at Big Wong is one of the famous dishes other than BBQ. You may want to just stick with Big Wong!

I always get both BBQ and beef chow fun there too. Also get the shrimp rice noodles which is a dim sum portion. Those are my favorites at Big Wong.

Love the House Special Chow Fun @ 69. Shrimp, chicken, pork and a ton of veggies in a light brown sauce. Its massive. Other favoite dish there is the beef and peas in brown sauce over pork fried rice. Soupy sauce soaks in perfectly with the rice below. not sure how that would work takeout.
