Restaurant recommendations for Westwood area?

cimero Aug 29, 2007 05:40 PM

I know about Napa Valley Grille and Palomino, and there's a Mexican restaurant that makes guacamole tableside, but I can't remember the name??? Any other places that have a great dinner in the Westwood area? This is an expense account situation so price is not an issue. Thanks for hte hound help!!

Gardens on Glendon does the guacamole tableside. I'm never get too excited about any of the restaurants in Westwood Village, but Tanino's on Westwood Blvd is pretty good.

      I second Tanino! Love it!

Eurochow has reopened recently, so if I were you with the expense account, I'd try it once to see how it is this time around.

The drive to Brentwood to go to Peppone would be worth it.

Eurochow was never good the first time around, so it'll be wonder if they managed to transform the food this time. I will say that the restaurant is gorgeous though and impresses on that front. After growing up in the San Gabriel Valley, I simply cannot stomach paying $24 for rubbery mayonaisse-y shrimp with walnuts.

Also agree that there isn't anything expense account worthy in Westwood and that you should head to Century City or Beverly Hills.

        Another Tanino fan here!

Napa: terrible, stay away. Bad food, just for the corporate suit events crowd.

For an expense account, I'd head over to Century City to La Cachette, just a little ways down on Santa Monica Blvd.

You could also go to Nine Thirty at the W.

You could also try to get into Craft or Cut.

If you want to impress, try Crustacean's in Beverly HIlls. Great ambience!
