I'm pretty sure it's a rerun of the episode they played right before Season 3. I won't spoil it for you but if you're interested, I could tell you who wins if you wanted. Happy birthday!

While a rerun (in Season 3 withdrawal right now), it was still fun to watch again. The personalities of Seasons 1 (Dave is just so labile and hilarious) and 2 (Marcel really doesn't seem to be such a bad guy, but just soooo quirky) could not be more different, and I would love to see them all interact more...

I'd love to see a kind of "old school" vs "new school" battle, with the solid and honest flavors of Harold and Sam vs the shock and awe of Hung and Marcel...

One interesting aspect of this "Top Chef" format is that, if they don't milk it to death, with several seasons under their belts, they'll be able to do all kinds of alumni "dream battles." Which would you want to see?

When this season ends, I'd like to see their 4 finalists compete either against Season 1 or Season 2. I'm thinking more Season 1...I think Harold & Co. will have some very serious competition.

Now that I have seen the 3rd season chefs in action, I enjoyed watching the them judge the food. Did anyone else catch Micah saying how much she enjoys it when chefs redo comfort food? Too bad she didn't have that same attitude when it was her turn to redo meat loaf.
