I think you're mostly out of luck in Greenville. The most exotic that comes to mind is Saskatoon on Haywood which specializes in game/exotic meats. My husband had a Yak steak there that was truly outstanding.

We did pass a place outside the city area about 25 miles in Pickens County, just north of Caesar's Head. I can't say whether they actually serve food here, as we were by on a Sunday morning when nothing is open. It's called Road Kill Grill and they did in fact have both a grill and a crockpot. I'll try to attach a photo... If not, the link is http://flickr.com/photos/lpilewski/94...

      Good luck with your search!

bizarre? I would consider anything at the S&S Cafeteria on Pleasantburg to be bizarre, but that's just me.

Seriously though - any further elaboration on what you seek? There are several Greenville area folks here to help!
