Godiva Pumpkin Truffles?

southernitalian Aug 29, 2007 01:08 PM

Does anyone know when Godiva is going to start hawking their pumpkin truffles? I always have to sit down to eat them. I don't think I could walk and eat one at the same time.

I'm a fiend for all things pumpkin. This is a new one on me--and now I'll be stalking the local Godiva store. Thanks. . .I think. ; )

We used to get them- Godiva Halloween/Fall themed chocolates mid September when I used to work at a B&N. I'm partial to the creme brulee ones they packaged with the pumpkin truffles last year.

Had these last night. AMAAAAAZING! Totally stocking up to have enough for the entire year.

I love this description: "I always have to sit down to eat them" - nicely said! I didn't know Godiva had pumpkin truffles...I'll have to give them a try this year.

The Godiva kiosk at BWI airport was giving away samples (they were cut in half) of them last week. I love pumpkin anything generally, but to be honest, I wasn't really that head over heels about these. I wish Godiva would bring back their unbelievable ice cream though, that's the best stuff on earth.

I tried these about a month ago and was very underwhelmed. I love anything pumpkin but these truffles were too sweet, imo. I think they would have been much better covered in dark chocolate than milk.
