Sunday night dinner in Kansas City

I'm looking for a casual Sunday evening dinner destination in Kansas City with a bistro-like or neighborhood atmosphere. It would be great if the menu had a mix of light and heavy dishes (fish to steak).

Maybe it will help to refine this a bit. How about the Plaza or Westport?

Mccoy's has good food, in Westport.

Tom Fooleries on the Plaza.. Neither is great, but if you are looking for decent casual options for a sunday night, both have decent menu's and may have some atmosphere, if you're looking for that on a sunday.

Is Le Fou Frog still open on Sunday nights? It used to be a good night for food workers to go. They had a great mix of light and more substantial dishes and it certainly has a bistro atmosphere. Le Fou Frog is on 5th Street one block east of Grand.

I can recommend the charcuterie plate at le Fou Frog for a light meal. And the Boulevard on tap to go with it.

    1. You should go to Fiorella's Jack Stack!! The new one on the plaza is beautiful, and the menu is extensive. AMAZING FISH, different fresh selection daily. My fave menu item is the flattened chicken. Something for everyone, and they have many locations. Have fun!
