I have tried the ravs and spaghetti at Agata & Valentina. They're good. Any other great places? my pref is upper east or midtown east--but heck if it's incredible I'll go anywhere in manhattan.

I have bought fresh ww pasta in many many places in Manhattan. Good they well may be but none can hold a candle to the ww made at Borgatti's in the Bronx. Believe me it is worth the trip but call first to make sure they have made it fresh that day. It is far superior to any other I have found in the Metro area.

Ditto erica's Borgatti's rec. Nothing compares to their large ravioli. I've seen fresh egg pasta, and spinach pasta there, but have only seen WW, carrot and squid ink pasta dry. I could be wrong, so as erica said, do call ahead.

Raffetto's is a great option for fresh pasta in Manhattan. You can get the fresh pasta cut to order on fantastic old-school jangly pasta cutting machine. In addition to the whole wheat, you can get many other options (more than Borgatti's), including saffron, my personal fave.
