Elote experience & Sebastopol Ave Notes (S.R.)

I tried my first elote from the delicias elenitas truck yesterday evening. A n elote cost 1.50 and is carefully dressed with mayonesa cotija and chile. The corns are presumably boiled or steamed.

I can best describe it much like eating a puffy salty robe. Pretty rich but a delicious thing once in a while.

La Fondita has completely revamped its interior - making it look much like La Texanita. It is really nice inside now.

Taqueria Don Tono advertised Espinazo de Puerco con Verdolagas as yesterday's special of the day

    1. Hey, Kare. I loved the tacos from the Delicias Elenitas truck, I think, and I absolutely loved them. Chicken, beef, pork, and tongue, all wonderful. I tried La Fondita, I don't know if with its new interior or not (it had scenes of a people cooking in the desert), but the posole I had was incredibly bland and not worth getting. No amount of salt or lime could save it. I tried just a taste of the Texanita one earlier, and I think it was better. I didn't have the whole dish, though, so I can't know for sure.
