Suggestions for business dinner near Crotonville?

I need to host a nice dinner for an important client near Crotonville. It may be a big crowd. What are 2-3 suggestions for a great, more formal place in that area (so including Croton-on-Hudson, Ossining)?

I see Croton Creek Steakhouse on Zagats - anyone have experience eating there?

  1. Two suggestions in Ossining: Travelers' Rest on Route 100, or Mauro's (formerly Guida's) in downtown Ossining. Flames Steakhouse in Briarcliff Manor is very good. Croton Creek is in Croton Falls, a fair distance away.

    1. What about Maison Lafitte in Briarcliff (right up the road, just off 9A), it's an old mansion that is quite formal. Haven't been there in a very long time so I can't comment on the food. Also in Briarcliff I like Terra Rustica, not as formal as Maison but still nice with good food.
Maison Lafitte - 914-941-5787 ok never mind I just called the # and it's a catering place. I guess Maison went out of business.
      Terre Rustica - 914-923-8300
also in Millwood is Spaccarelli's 914-941-0105
      good classic Italian

      1. I haven't been there in a year or so but I think Peter Pratts would work for you. It's in a section of Yorktown that I think may be Crotonville.

No, Peter Pratts is not in Crotonville. Crotonville is a small area within the Town of Ossining. If you are traveling south on 9, it's after you pass the Van Cortlandt Manor Estate in Croton, you also cross the Croton River, it's back up in there. I think GE has some offices in that area.

They do, sadly. Some huge Developmental Center or something. They used to have a restaurant on the premises, goodness knows if they do still.
