My fiancé and I are traveling to Mallorca and Paris for our honeymoon in a few weeks. I have spend days scouring guide books and websites for Paris restaurants and have been overwhelmed to say the least. I have found several places that I definitely want to try, but I am still looking for a really special dinner place for our last night in Paris. Ideally I would like to find a place that is off-the-beaten-path, romantic and charming in a peaceful setting and with a check that stays around 200 Euro total. Any recommendations that would fit this bill would be greatly appreciated.

Also, any other suggestions for Paris dining are greatly appreciated as well.

Thank you.

This pretty much describes Chez Jean on rue St. Lazare in the 9th

L'Equitable in the 5th near Censier-Daubenton (sic) metro. Near not far from rue Moufftard.

La Truffiere in the 5th arrondisement has an a la carte menu and a prix fixed menu. If you do the prix fixed, its around 110 euros per person but the a la carte is a lot less. Its in a 1600s building, downstairs, incredibly romantic, stone walls, great service, friendly to Americans, and most importantly, the food is excellent. Its given accolades by 3 forks in the Michelin guide and a 24 in Zagats. Good luck whatever you decide and have a wonderful trip.
