frozen custard on Cape

Can this be found on the Cape please?

    Many call Soft serve Ice Cream frozen Custard...is it one and the same?

      Nah, not the same. Real frozen custard is just that, frozen custard, made with eggs and super creamy. According to wikipedia "at least 10% milk fat and at least 1.4% egg yolk." Oh man, it's good stuff.

      Most soft serve (much as i enjoy the stuff) wouldn't fit those criteria--at least I don't think so. Does it even have real egg in it?

      A quick search brought up DQ's soft serve ingredients, just as a point of reference: milkfat and nonfat milk, sugar, corn syrup, whey, cocoa (processed with alkali), mono and diglycerides, guar gum, artificial flavor, polysorbate 80, carrageenan, and vitamin A palmitate.

        I love frozen custard...especially from the mid-Atlantic chain called Rita's. They now have 3 locations in Rhode Island!

          no way is soft serve even close...Where in RI Sarahbeth, please? I cannot believe there is no frozen custard in Cape Cod..
