Need help for Monterey Bay area dining!

I am looking for reccomendations for the Monterey Bay area, I am going this weekend and I would like to go somewhere that is relatively romantic with nice views of the bay. The restaurant doesn't have to actually be in Monterey (I have heard that Carmel and Pacific Grove have nice choices too) Does anyone know of anywhere nice to go? Think fine dining... Also I am allergic to seafood (I know that makes it much more difficult) but even a restaurant that has non-seafood options but specialty is seafood would be ok.

Let me know!

In Pacific Grove Passionfish is a great place! The chef is known for slow-cooked meats as well as seafood. The Duck-confit is great! And their wine list is priced at almost retail.
Melange also in Pacific Grove gets some mixed reviews here. I had lunch recently and enjoyed everything
Anything in Pebble Beach is great. Peppoli is their newest restaurant in Spanish Bay. Roy's has one of the best views.
Stokes Adobe in Monterey can be a hit or miss depending on their most recent menu.
Montrio Bistro (Monterey) and their sister restaurant Tarpy's Roadhouse (Mtry/Slns Hwy) always provide great food and service
