Hampton beach seafood festival 2007

Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting on chowhound, but I have read many posts and they are very helpful!!

I am off to the annual seafood festival in Hampton Beach, NH and I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations, tips, experiences etc that they would like to share. I am looking forward to trying the lobster roll from Brown's as I hear its one of the best, but is there anything else that you guys would say is a "must"?

I have been to the area a couple of times but this will be my first time at the festival so I'm just looking for a little more info.

    1. I also plan to go this year (for the first time). I've heard from locals that going Fri and taking the shuttle buses is a good idea (both of which I intend to do). I printed out the food tent info and highlighted the ones I'm most interested in. I'll be heading to 931 Ocean (lobster mac'n'cheese), then maybe Brown's, Petey's, Ronaldo's and the Old Salt. I don't know much about The Whale's Tale, but their fish&chips and fish taco's look like a bargain.
