What happened to Madame Matisse?

Hi Chowers,
I recently went to my once favorite breakfast/lunch spot in Silverlake and noticed a whole new staff.
When I asked what had happened to Ann and Phillipe (I think that was his name/the main chef) they had no answers.
Anyone know what this fab pair of is up to? A new spot perhaps?
Let me know...thanks!

  1. Don't know about the old people, but it was sold to Debra from Cakewalk Bakery. She's going to add some of her own baked goods and may consider opening for dinner once again at some point.

I would love to see Madame Matisse reopen for dinner! I've missed it. There just aren't many relaxed, tasty, BYO options in the neighborhood.

Me too! We loved eating dinner there and were so bummed when they stopped serving it. I really hope they reopen for dinner. The duck with lentils was so good!

I loved their steak au poivre! Definitely hope they reopen for dinner and keep it on the menu!!
