lunch recs in el segundo

hi, everyone! I'm moving jobs from costa mesa to el segundo. any recs for lunch there? I'm looking for healthy and good. also, any places that have a great salad bar in that area? I'm used to going to Irvine Ranch Market for food and fruit down here. oh, and I'm going to be working off the 105 just after you get off the 405. thanks in advance for all of your help!

I've had several good lunches at Second City Bistro. Not dirt cheap, $15 or so with iced tea or whatnot. Excellent salads, really good burger if you're feeling reckless. Pleasant room with covered outdoor area on a shady street. 223 Richmond St.

Papillon is a great Filipino resto known for their vegetarian options.
Chef Hannes is more about the meat but has some lighter options.

Can't quite picture where you are, but there's Farm Stand on Main St. I have not been there since I used to go down there only for the Monday night wino club, and Farm Stand wasn't open on Mondays. Anyway, seems like they'd have some healthy fare.

I used to work down there too and my favorite place (and a fave of the Lakers!) is Petit Cafe in the Sizzler Shopping center on Sepulveda. Uber fresh middle eastern food...

For something a little more pocket friendly, we used to like Osho in Manhattan Beach on Sepulveda. They have a great Teriyaki Lunch Special and pretty decent Sushi as well...

Also in the Manhattan Village Mall, Koo Koo Roo.

Yes, if a salad bar is what you're looking for, go to the WFM on Sepulveda. Nothing else comes close in the area.

I also like Hummus Factory and Chicken Dijon in downtown ES for not-too-bad-for-you quick lunches. If you're in the mood for a sandwich, try Rinaldi's.
