Tofu Cream Cheese

I just relocated from NYC and as I am a lactose intolerant bagel lover, I am on a quest to find TOFU CREAM CHEESE - which is a non-dairy cream cheese alternative sold at most bagel shops in NY. (Note: Though Whole Foods sells Tofutti cream cheese, this product is, in my opinion, nasty, and completely unlike cream cheese.) I have been hunting around Sherman Oaks, though I work in Brentwood and will be living in Hollywood - so I'm game for any location, just need my TOFU CREAM CHEESE! They looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for TOFU CREAM CHEESE at Noah's and Western and so many other "bagel" shops. Help!

In OC Mother's Market (four locations) has both soy and rice based cream cheese.

They carry it at all Trader Joe's.

Thanks but, sadly, Trader Joe's sells only the nasty Tofutti cream cheese.
