Organic Lamb Burgers (Brickworks Farmer's Market)

  • 6

I was at the "Farm to Fork" festival at the Don Valley Brickworks today - lots of fun activities for kids, food (make-your-own pizzas and salads etc) in addition to the usual famer's stalls selling yummy produce and baked goods. and my partner really enjoyed an organic lamb burger he had grilled for him there. The vendor was selling them frozen but we didn't buy any since they were pretty pricey. I'd like to pick up a few for a surprise - does anyone know if this vendor sells at other markets in the city during the week (Dufferin Grove, Riverdale, Mel Lastman square, etc)? Thanks!

  1. I don't know about that particular vendor but I know you can get lamb burgers from naturally raised lambs at Cumbrae's.

    1. There is a lamb burger vendor at Dufferin Grove on Thursdays. Pricey is right! He sells a George Foreman cooked burger for $4 - and a package of 2 frozen for $8. He also carries other lamb products. Does this sound like the same guy?

could be the culprit. i think the brickworks dude had 4 frozen for $6..but my memory is fuzzy.

      2. There's a lamb burger guy at the Riverdale market on Tuesdays...
