This looks like a good deal to me. Has anyone had any experience with this "e-tailer" (Cutlery and More)???

    Looks like a great deal.
The carving knife, chefs knife and steel will cost you that. So you get a bread and paring knife for free.

If you trust them, jump on it.

Plus you also get the shears, block, cutting board, and sharpener...and free shipping!!

Looks like it's time to drop some hints for birthday presents.

As far as I know, Cutlery and More is fine. It's a good deal if you'll use both the chef's knife and carving knife regularly. Personally, I wouldn't have much use for an 8" carving knfie and would pass. I have the Grand Prix II handles, 8" chef, and two smaller paring knives, and that's it for the fancy knives for the moment. I do have a big serrated knife that works for bread and some other occasional uses, but it's a cheapie I got as a gift. And a couple of other old cheapies here and there that still work. What I really need now is a sharpener to keep the Wusthofs working better.

I think I could put the three I have together at a cost that's notably less than this, or at least I used to be able to. I haven't shopped for these for a few years. Anyway, point being that make sure these are all pieces you're going to use and that you've done a lot of price checking before pulling the trigger on such a set. If any of these are of questionable or rare use for you, look elsewhere, as there's always another set package possible or buying individual pieces might allow you to better target your needs while still getting a good deal.

I've ordered 3 or 4 things from them in the past couple of years and everything went wonderfully, they are one of the first websites I check when I need/want something for the kitchen. In other words, order without fear.

Ad yeah, it looks like a good deal!

I've dealt with Cutlery and More several times in the past few months with no problems. They are reliable with very fast service. It is not uncommon to place an order on Sunday night and receive it on Wednesday. Their prices are competitive and there is free shipping on orders over $59. It has become my preferred cookware supplier.
