Las Vegas Best place for "special" sushi rolls?

We were going to go to Koto but as of august 1st its been sold.

We are really into special rolls. By that i mean, 4 or 5 ingredients on the inside, tempura flash fried with yummy sauces poured over top. Of course we also order sashimi so it needs to be fresh.

Okada's menu seems a little "too normal" What bout Sushi Kazen? Any other suggestions? p.s. we wont have a car but dont mind taking a taxi if it's not too far.

Kaizen sushi across form the Hard Rock does some really crazy, crazy rolls. I'm not one for eating them, but my friends who ordered the sushi "lasagna" said it was awesome.

The place has got a loud, young and fun vibe. It's hard to hear people talk, tho, when the house DJ's blaring music so much your teeth chatter. Yes, the place has a DJ..*LOL*

kaizen fusion roll and sushi (across the street from the hard rock) has many "special" sushi rolls. i have tried kobe sushi which is 10 mins west of the strip and was very very disappointed. kaizen however is good if you're not looking for a more traditional sushi fare - like at okada (which is amazing, by the way).

if you do make it to kaizen, please please order the spicy tuna with crispy rice. it is on the hot appetizer menu. my favorite thing on the menu.

There's a place on Sahara between Rainbow & Buffalo called Cafe Wasabi.

I've been there a couple times ( always pretty tasty ) and remember that they serve a wide variety of interesting rolls. There is a link to their menu in the very top left side of the page. Might be what you are looking for. The cab ride would be comparable to taking a cab to Rosemary's, as they are very close to each other.
