For anyone who knows what a Nut Goodie is, they can now be found at this Walgreens!:

Walgreens
25 Point Lobos Ave. -- also known as Geary and 41st Ave.

FYI - Growing up in Minnesota in the 70's, I savored this old-fashioned treat that my grandmother slowly doled out to me as a little girl. A Nut Goodie has maple filling mixed with whole Virginia peanuts and is enrobed in milk chocolate. Yummy!

I saw these yesterday at my local Walgreens (Franklin & Post) and was wondering about them, as I'm a fan of regional candies -- thanks for the info!

They were definitely regional until I saw them here in San Francisco, I used to bring boxes home from the MN (I have two boxes from Christmas that I'm working my way through right now). They're made by Pearson in St. Paul, MN. If you try them, let me know what you think! Thanks!!
