        <content>i dont know why this crazing hit me, but back in florida where im from i once had some amazing fried pickles and ive had zuchini fries a few times (most recently and hubert kellers burger bar in LV). anyone know where i can find some or am i just gonna have to make em myself?

      <content>Oh, thank you for that rec.  My Grandfather in Ohio loves them, but my family out here craves them and can never find them.  
 
However, deep fried snickers are an abomination.

      <content>Sam's Grill (Bush Street, SF) serves a choice of fried zuchini or fried eggplant as an appetizer. Usually, they will make a combo order if you ask for it.  </content>

      <content>The Fat Lady, across from Jack London theater in Oakland has a fried zucchini app that is praised by Narsai David. We tried it last week, and they are addicting.</content>

      <content>Thanks a lot for the Fat Lady rec.  Upon reading this thread I started missing the wonderful zuc fries at the Village Restaurant that was razed to make way for the new Albertsons at 18th and Lakeshore in Oaktown.
Their z fries were almost the only good thing they made, but the owners went back to the West Bank when the bulldozers arrived.
