Bistro St. Germain in Mineola (LI)

It is in fact closed. Sign and menu up for an Italian place...Pasta Place or something to that effect. Sad, never made it there. Not sure what happened. Thought it to be an odd location. Maybe that will open the door for my little GC to get it's own French Bistro. Man, that could be nice. Bistro Citron/Cassis spin-off, perhaps???

Maybe a management issue. They already had 2 places, sometimes it's hard to keep track of various locations. Does anyone remember Park's Place, that was in that location over 10 years ago? Great burger/casual place with a Monopoly motif?
Also, GC Guy, have you tried Wild Fig? Liked it a lot. Worth the trip from EW for take-out. So is Waterzooi for that matter.

Like Wild Fig a lot...SUPER nice people, very sweet to kids. Try to pomegranite chicken over salad with the spicy tomato dressing...a pleasure.

When I saw what was replacing it, my thought was "Gee, just what Mineola needs, another Italian place."

It is sad. I knew so many people who loved it too, and everytime I'd go past, there'd be people there for lunch.
