Actually not going to go to The House as previously posted. I managed to grab a rez at the Slanted Door. This is going to be my first time eating here. I've eaten at Out the Door a few times, and have enjoyed the papaya salad and saigon pork sammy.

What dishes are recommended for the Slanted Door? Especially curious about pork and seafood dishes.

The catfish claypot is excellent, truly delicious and exciting to taste. The porkchops are very good, also.
Try some of the side vegetables at the bottom of the menu, or ask if there are any additional vegetables from that day's market. These are always well-prepared and in a way to expose the vegetables essence. Love 'em.

And I second the cellophane noodle with crab.
