Cleaning stains on blender cap

Does anyone know how to get rid of the stains on a blender cover? I was blending watermelons today and now my cap is tinted pink and no matter how much i scrub, I can't get the color off.

  1. Bleach ought to work. Sometimes hydrogen peroxide works too.

    1. Oxy clean -- the stuff you put in the laundry. Just make a solution, soak and rub. Then give it a good rinse. It takes most things off white plastic beautifully.

      1. If you have a dishwasher that should do the trick. But what I do with all plastics(was the youngest Tupperware dealer/manager in history/at 13yrs. old) is fill up the sink with hot water and add 1 cup of bleach and watch the magic happen!

        1. Had same problem, Kitchen Aid said try lemon. I used it yesterday left it to dry and we had very sunny day. Guess what after 2 days in strong sunlight, stains have all but gone.
