Langer's for lunch

I had the #19..................Un F____n believable! I have to say, when they do my wake, make sure these are all represented: Langer's, Dr. Hogly Wogly, J&J Burgers & BBQ, The Cobbler Lady, 26 Beach, Nick's, Rutt's Hutt, Vito's, Original Bill's Taco House, Los Quattro Milpas (representing San Diego) & see if Jay's daughter can make a batch of her dads chili to add to the 26 Beach Burgers, oh and have Larry Nicola do the Martinis & ABC sandwiches. See if The Dirty Dozen or ReBirth Brass Bands can play at the second line going through Silver Lake & Los Feliz! Can I get an Ah Men! One last thing, there is a version of Amazing Grace the Bonnie Raitt sang at Stevie Rays burial, that would be nice!

Langer's is awesometastic. The next best thing to Montreal Smoked Meat at Schwartz's which I just had on Sunday. Man it's good.

I googled, and am now the proud future owner of a pound of the stuff. and click the link on Schwartz's homepage for the trailer of a documentary on the place. (that was when the "sold" sign went up for me.)

...oops...update...Schwartz's can't deliver to the US "because of the US embargo". (they were very nice about it, though.)

            waaah. :(

Montreal Smoked Meat is similar (but superior) to pastrami. Schwartz's is in Montreal in an area called "The Main" -- the old Jewish area. The food is unsane. Amazing fries and picles too.

Man, that brings back memories! Odd, I know, but I also really like their liver and onions.

unless i'm mistaken, a prerequisite for his wake would be his death

A practice run would be good, who is bringing the Lipitor, Nitro Tabs and the Paddles?
