There are Oaxacan chile Rellenos with Picadillo on the menu as well as a dish the call Oaxacan Pea patties in Salsa verde. Anyone try>?

  1. Nice find... I keepl meaning to get out to Sebastopol... I think there is also a place that is supposed to do grilled, butterflied chickens very well.

Depends on what you mean by good EN. It's been there for over a decade- maybe 12-15 years. It's survived and fed thousands of meals. I've consumed a few myself. But I don't think it's "authentic". Baked potatoes with a variety of toppings? Massive burritos with options like tofu and salmon? Don't think it's like those wonderful grilled chicken places in Mexico - the ones with grills burning, handmade tortillas, sides of rice & beans to go.

          You'll be disappointed.

But if you're driving by wearing a damp, sandy swimsuit and carrying a crying child, you'll be right at home...lots of food for a reasonable price. Good enough if you suspend any belief that it's true Mexican food.

btw, there are probably some traditional dishes on the menu, I just don't remember them.
