Don't know if it's in line with your sweet tooth, but I frequent J&J Bakery off Culver/Irvine Center Drive ('round the corner from Sam Woo dim sum).

Great call on Cream Pan. How did I forget it. Their strawberry croissants and azuki cream pan are the best.
