Lunch at Anatolia

ekammin Aug 22, 2007 07:58 PM

My wife and I have had dinner at Anatolia several times, but today, having to be in the area in the afternoon, we decided to have lunch there. I had Gozleme, crepes filled with spinach and feta, she had Lahmacun, pizza-like crust topped with meat and apices. Actually we shared the two, I had some of her dish, she some of mine.

Not wanting to have any alcohol (otherwise we would have ordered wine) she had a Coke, I had Ayran, a Turkish yoghurt drink.

Everything was delicious, and I emphatically recommend this place. Now, if only they could add some Turkish wine to their wine list . . .

I haven't eaten there in years. I had totally forgotten about that place. The last time I was there it was looking tired but the food was delicious esp. the manti (meat dumplings in yogurt) May have to put it on my "to eat" list again.
