Head on down to 2nd St. There are several options there: Le Creperie, Open Sesame, Magic Lamp....
In Seal Beach, if you like sushi, Restaurant Koi is awesome....but with 9 it's hard to sit at the bar.

Spaghettini's is good but expensive. Jimmy's in Long Beach is great for seafood. Walt's near the Seal Beach Pier is also good for seafood.
